This kitchen has a distinct farm house style, with painted tongue and groove cabinetry and Brass knob handles. The Formica bench top adds interest and oil finished Matai bench top on the breakfast bar ties in the handles. We have used a detailed profile capping, and skirting board around the breakfast bar, with Pilkington 'Broadreed' glass panels in the upper units and tall unit facing the dining room. As this space has a very high stud we have taken the tall units to 2.4, for storage of items that are not often in used. The pantry unit houses Tandem Box pull out inner drawers, and crockery is stored in four deep drawers in the breakfast bar. Simple, practical, and gorgeous.
